LaGuardia is usually the easier airport

From Nassau County and western Suffolk, LaGuardia is closer than JFK and the approach is simpler. The rebuilt terminals have made pickup and drop-off far more civilised than they were, though the access roads still back up badly at peak hours.

From the East End the difference is smaller — both airports are roughly a two-hour run — but LGA often wins on a weekday evening because you avoid the worst of the Belt Parkway.

Terminals

LaGuardia now operates Terminal A (Marine Air Terminal), Terminal B and Terminal C. Delta occupies Terminal C, most other major carriers are in Terminal B. Tell us your airline and we will get you to the right door.

Departures

Drop-off at the departures level directly outside your airline's check-in. Your chauffeur unloads and waits until you are through the doors.

Arrivals

Meet and greet at baggage claim with a name sign, or curbside at the designated pickup area. LaGuardia's curbside pickup zones are well signposted and quick — for domestic arrivals with carry-on only, curbside is genuinely the faster option.

Wait time and delays

Flight tracked from departure. 60 minutes free wait time on domestic arrivals, 90 on international, from actual landing. Delays cost you nothing.

Nassau County to LGA starts at $109 all in. Hamptons to LGA is $299 in a premier luxury SUV. All rates include tolls, gratuity and meet and greet. Full rate card.
