The long one. Newark from Long Island means crossing the whole of New York City — which is exactly why you do not want to drive it yourself.
Get a flat rate Call (516) 229-1466From the Hamptons, Newark is a three-hour trip in good conditions and can be four or more at the wrong time of day. You cross the length of Long Island, then all of New York City, then a river. It is the single most demanding airport run we do.
Which is precisely the argument for a chauffeur. Doing it yourself means arriving at an international departure having already spent four hours in traffic, then paying JFK-level parking rates for the duration of your trip.
Depending on the hour we route via the Verrazzano and the Goethals, or through Manhattan and the Holland or Lincoln Tunnel. The right answer changes by the hour and by the day, and your chauffeur will pick it live. All tolls are included in your flat rate regardless of which way we go.
For international departures out of Terminal B or C we typically build in an extra hour of buffer beyond what the airline recommends. It is the one route where we would rather you wait in a lounge than in a tunnel.
Newark operates Terminals A, B and C. United dominates Terminal C, most international carriers are in Terminal B, and the rebuilt Terminal A handles a mix. Give us your airline.
Flight tracked from origin. 90 minutes of free wait time on international arrivals — which is the majority of what we handle at EWR — and 60 on domestic.
